During several field trips, students will familiarize with a peatbog (Červené Blato), a sandpit (Třeboňská pánev), and shallow oligotrophic sandpits. The effect of pond fish stocking on water quality and biodiverity in relation to the econimic management and with regard to invasive rough fish appearance will be demonstrated on various types of ponds. Water retention ability of a river meadow, a pond (in accordance with the law). There will be excursions to long-term observed basin on the right part of Lipno (the amount of the outflow from a forest, a pasture, and wetland). Practical demonstration of sampling of the sediments, peat, and estimation of biomass production, measurement of primary production and dynamics of oxygen concentration and pH. Assesment of the condition of the pond's food chain.
